Activity Overview

Recent clinical trials have demonstrated the therapeutic efficacy of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) at different stages of diabetes progression, and exploratory studies suggest the potential for therapeutic uses other than glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This continuing medical education (CME/CE) symposium will focus on hot topics arising from the most current information relevant to GLP-1 RAs.

This activity includes an introductory segment followed by 8 "hot topic" discussions, each consisting of comparative answer polling questions; a short written excerpt of relevant, corresponding clinical data; and audio clips of the faculty roundtable discussion derived from questions received during the live activity.
